Anarchy Post Season: Round 1, Game 1
DPPI reporting from JCC; Nov 09, 2011:
Anarchy hammered Fubar 21 - 5 to take Game 1 of the initial round of the 2011 Lynn's League Fall Playoffs. Led by their diminutive, blond, firebrand Captain--Stacey D--who, despite being concussed and otherwise out of her mind, pounded out a 4 for 4 night at the plate. Stacey--the Hammer--is destroying pitching across all Albany leagues. "Even when she hits into an out, its a line drive", noted a complimentary teammate.
Supporting Stacey's prolific night at the plate and contributing to the offensive onslaught were Justin R and Matt New. Justin and Matt were perfect at the plate and pounded a relentless barrage of hard grounders and line drives through the besieged Fubar defense...which was exactly that. Semi-invalid John C managed to contribute some production--slugging a pair of triples and a double. Brandi G also strut her stuff with an opposite field triple.
Chris continued her potent post season pitching with another dominant performance. Anarchy defense provided a good complement for Chris--handling with supple hands most balls in play and employing a variety of shifts to goad and taunt the Fubar offense.
Anarchy is looking to put together another strong post season run with the hope of shaking their summer collapse. Anarchy's summer post season was truncated in part by sloppy D and ill timed batting slumps. Anarchy hopes to sweep the series on Tuesday, Nov 15 at Mullen's Park.
