About Our STATs!

PA: Plate Appearances - Counts every plate appearance including walks, catcher's inference (CI), intentional walks, hit by pitch, and sacrifices.
AB: At Bats - Includes only official plate appearances; walks, HBP, IBB, CI, and sacrifices are not counted as an official AB.
H: Hits
W: Walks
IBB: Intentional Base on Balls; sadly there is a category for this.
HBP: Hit by Pitch
ROE: Reached base On Error
K: Strike out
SF: Sacrifice Fly - A fly ball or line drive caught in the air by a fielder that allows a baserunner to score.
CA: Caught Advancing on Base - A baserunner who is caught trying to take an extra base.
GIDP: Ground into Double Play
Avg: Batting average; rate expresses hits/AB.
OBP: On Base Percentage - Records every time a batter reaches base including walks, IBB, HBP, and ROE.
Slg: Slugging - Measures total bases per AB. The minimum is 0, the maximum is 4.
Iso: Isolated Power (Slg - BA) - Measures extra bases per AB. The minimum is 0, the maximum is 3. Indicates true power.
BB Rate: A player's base on balls rate or walks/PA.
BB % Diff: A player's BB rate as compared to team average; expressed as percent difference to team average.
ROB: Runners On Base when a player comes to bat.
%ROE: % of a players offensive production derived from ROE. If a significant portion of your offense is derived from ROE, practice time!
BR: Base Runs - broad offensive measure that estimates run production; follows game logical construct. More relevant than typical offensive stats in that effects of BB, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, SF, K, etc. are considered.
Norm BR: Normalized BR - Adjusts BR to compensate for playing time by normalizing PA's and Games Played. Much fewer than average games or innings played skews stat.
Norm % Diff: Player's % performance above or below average Norm BR.
Corr BR: Corrected BR - Adjusts BR to compensate for playing time using players performance wrt average. Much fewer than average games or innings played skews stat.
Corr % Diff: Player's % performance above or below average Corr BR.
BR%: % contribution of team Runs Created. This rate attempts to show the amount of runs a player contributes to the team total.
ROB%: % of ROB driven In; measures a batter's efficiency at scoring Runners on Base not including him or herself. Skewed by walk rate, proficiency of baserunners, etc.
ROB/PA: Runners on base per PA for a player or slot
PA/Gm: Plate Appearances per game. Counts all appearances at plate for a player.
BR/PA: Runs Created per Plate Appearance; rate that expresses a batter's per PA runs created.
OO/PA: Offensive Outs per Plate Appearance; rate that expresses batter's per PA out consumption.
TOO: Total Offensive Outs consumed by a batter.
OO/Gm: Offensive Outs batter consumes per game.
P/PA: Average pitches per PA seen by batter
P/PA '> <' % P/PA above or below average.
