Sunday League Announcement
NOTE: The league has reconsidered and plans on expanding the Sunday League schedule from the current 7 regular season games. Details will be provided as soon as information becomes available.
Information regarding the Sunday League has been released. As of now, only Week 1 games have been scheduled. I could paraphrase, but here it is from the commish:
"Each team will play 7 regular season games and all teams will make the playoffs. No team will play less than 8 games and no more than 11 games. Each day will have it's own separate championship. Player's may play in the Saturday and Sunday league but not two teams in any one day. FREE beer & softballs will be included in your...Team registration fee....The complete schedule will be released later in the week. Softballs, scorebooks and line-up cards can be picked up at the FOD concession stand on game day. Our rain-out hotline will be at 8:00am (427-8414) Saturday and Sunday. "
So there it is, it's a 7 game season and an all inclusive single game elimination playoff--the same as last year. Week one games are scheduled at Field of Dreams, I'm not sure if that will be the case for the remainder of the games.
For the Sunday League, the Dirty Pirate Hookers will be known as the Dirty Buc Ho's. Our first game is May 11, 3:30P against the Midnight Cowboys.
